He has a major focus on sports related injuries, in particular AFL and other running based ball sports, though his interest in biomechanics and exercise science allows him to work closely with runners and athletic based sports.
Liam has been involved with many different sporting groups, both in a physiotherapy and strength and conditioning capacity, such as a sports trainer role at North Melbourne football club (VFL), sports internships at Milwaukee Bucks (NBA), USA Ski & Snowboard Team and has been head of fitness for Old Ivanhoe under 19's football club and head distance coach at Ivanhoe Grammar.
Liam currently combines his physiotherapy consulting from the Essendon clinic of Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy, with his Rehabilitation coaching role at Richmond AFLW & VFLW. When he is not busy at these roles, he enjoys surfing, training for triathlons and keeping up to date with all the latest research and information regarding athletic load management and exercise science.
