Yana loves getting you back to feeling great again! After a stint in the U.S playing college basketball, she returned to Melbourne to complete her physiotherapy degree via Melbourne University.
Being an ex-athlete herself, she understands injuries, and what you are going through when you have an injury, and she understands exactly what it takes to help you recover. As a result, she is passionate about sports injury rehabilitation and prevention.
Yana has a large focus on sports injuries, and is most experienced and proficient at assessing and fixing your running mechanics and technique, shoulder and ankle pain, surgical and non-surgical ACL rehabilitation and any tendon pain you may be having. She enjoys all varieties of knee conditions.
Yana has experience working with North Melbourne men's (VFL) team, Athletics Australia's men's and women's relay teams at the AIS and overseas. She has also worked at multiple Australian University Games.
She has also had learning experiences in various elite sporting settings, including the Australian Institute of Sport, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) and with American sprinting coach Dan Pfaff.
